Stand up Paddle Board Hire

Take to the water to enjoy the lake and take in all its beauty. Suitable for children over 6, under 18's must be accompanied by an adult.

When you arrive, please head straight to our Activity hub where our team will check you in.

6 to 7 years old – Can be on a craft but must be accompanied on the same craft with another paddler aged over 18.

8 to 13 years old – Can paddle their own craft with someone over 18 supervising them, but they must also be on the water with a craft.

14 to 17 years old – Can paddle their own craft on the water with a guardian (18+) supervising from the water or from the bank.

Before travelling to site we ask that you follow the current government advice and do not travel if you have any of the following symptoms:

1. A high temperature: this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)
2. A new, continuous cough: this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)
3. A loss or change to your sense of smell or taste: this means you've noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal

To ensure the safety of our customers and staff we ask you to sign a health declaration confirming you are free of symptoms.

Included in your craft hire you will be provided with a buoyancy aid, wetsuit and helmet.

We recommend you bring with you:

1. Swimsuit for under your wetsuit
2. Trainers that don't slip off (they will get wet!)
3. Change of clothes
4. Towel
5. Sun cream
6. Bottle of water

1. Water sports kit provided
2. safety talk from activity team
3. craft and paddle familiarisation and instruction/ launching
4. instruction for manoeuvring the craft on water/ disembarking
5. take a trip around our water sports area on your SUP
6. Games can be provided if you wish
7. Come back to the centre to drop off your kit.
