Under 8's Woodland Party (Nov - Apr)

Our Woodland Adventure parties are the perfect celebration for your little adventurers. If you are looking for a birthday party with a difference, somewhere to have a great time exploring the outdoors, learning a new skill or just having a laugh – we have the answer. 

The Woodland adventure has been designed with under 8's in mind, so that younger children who are still developing can have their own taste of adventure.

This party is a mix some of the following activities depending on the groups presenting needs;

Mini beast safari- where our little adventurers will go hunting for wildlife on Woodmill's very own safari. Track Deer, look for otters, and explore where stag beetles live.

Ninja Squirrels- a woodland based hide and seek game where you have to be sneaky as a squirrel.

Bush whacking- this is where you will go off the beaten track and search for the resources to make your king/queen of the forest crowns. We will take you to explore the giant traps, this can get very muddy.

Crown making- all kings/queens of the forest deserve a crown, especially on their birthday. Children will make a woodland crown made out of woodland and recycled resources to take home.

Scavenger hunt- collect natural objects, to make a beautiful piece of Woodland art.

The final campfire story- all party goers will get a bushfire hot chocolate (with marsh mellows) and hear an tale of how the lakes at Woodmill came to be in the days where giants roomed the earth.

Room hire is available within our purpose build eco-lodge. For 1 hour's room hire for only £35.

Clothes for land activities:

1. Trousers or Shorts (weather dependant)
2. Sweatshirt (some activities require long sleeves)
3. Suitable closed toe footwear
