Paddleboard the length of Englands 3rd longest Lake!
Have you ever wanted to take on a paddling challenge?
Have you ever wanted to explore the entire length of the Lake Districts most famous lake?
Would you like to meet like minded people and be assisted by friendly and highly qualified guides and instructors?
Then look no further!
-----------------------------------------------------------------
One of our biggest paddling challenges. We are the only activity provider offering guided and instructed paddleboarding for the full length of the famous Coniston water!
This journey takes approximately 6.5 miles of paddleboarding and is no small task. However, a can do attitude is all it really takes.
Thanks to our expert instructors almost anyone is capable of achieving this incredible challenge. We have had experts, complete beginners and everyone in between complete this amazing paddle.
-------------------------------------------------------------
On this incredible day of paddling you will be part of a small group, no more than 8 people at a maximum instructor ratio of 1:6 people.
The direction (North or South) that we travel will depend on the prevailing wind conditions on the day, so be prepared to find this out the day before the event.
You will drop our vehicles at the end point of the journey, before travelling by a pre arranged transport to the start point (the cost of which is included in your price), where you will meet your friendly instructor.
After getting acquainted and kitted up, you will hit the water and paddle the 6 miles back to your vehicles. Along the way we will stop and put the kettle on and enjoy the incredible views with a hot cup of tea, coffee or hot chocolate. You will have the opportunity to visit piel island (of Swallows and Amazons fame) and maybe even brave the jump from the island into the water.
What happens if you decide you can't make it? This hasn't happened yet to any of our visitors. But if it does, then we will make our way to the nearest ferry jetty (there are 4 along the west side of the lake) and you can finish your journey on the famous Coniston steam boat.

Travel from car drop to the start point.
