When the dam doesn't release, the adventure just changes course! Gorge Walking takes you through the untouched upper section of the Dranse river. Normally too dangerous to access when water is flowing, this unique area opens up when the dam remains closed, revealing a secret world of natural beauty, deep pools, syphons and even a stunning cave known as The Church.

This is a chance to explore a place few people have ever seen—raw, beautiful, and packed with surprises. Along the way, your guide will show you how to navigate the terrain safely and share insights about the local geology, flora, and fauna. It's a fun, physical, and completely original way to enjoy the river.

2. Everybody must be 8 years old or over.

All you need to bring with you are swimming togs, towels and dry clothes for after.
