Lisvane and Llanishen Visitor Centre 

Fantastic walk part of walks were closed due to conservation projects , parking easy , if don’t want people on grass maybe widen paths , plenty of wildlife on show , lovely to see different age groups using the space . Possibly some more feeding stations for the smaller birds like other places just a option .

This is an easy walk with a purpose built centre and car park on site. There are two reservoirs, one smaller one that is closed off over the winter months. It can feel a bit exposed and so quite windy at one end of the larger reservoir so wrap up on colder days. There is another entrance/exit on the opposite side too. No dogs are allowed and you need to stay on the pathway due to protected fungi in the grass. There are a variety of things to do there, cold water swimming, paddle boarding and canoeing. There are good, clean loos and a cafe upstairs that gets very busy. A hide is located near the smaller lake for bird watchers and some benches near the cafe are available too. This has become an easy and favourite walk of ours

Lovely place to walk around and then for a bite to eat, very busy café but didn't have long to wait,lots of choices on menu for everyone.
