The BSUPA Level 1 “Ready to Ride” group course (up to 6 people) is aimed at beginner to intermediate Stand Up Paddleboarders who want to learn the basics and more. This certificate is required to paddle in Royal Victoria Dock without an instructor.

Must be able to swim/tread water confidently in open water. Particpants are requested to bring shoes/neoprene boots to be worn during the activity and when enterning/exiting the dock.

You will be given a dry land introduction to showcase the equipment, how to use it, basic paddle technique and how to launch. Then we'll be heading out on the water to begin the course. The course will cover technique, safety, a tour of the docks, and fun activities. Then back to the dry land for a round up and to give out the BSUPA cards.
