    Course kicks off at 9am.


    Through a mixture of indoor and outdoor work, including in water practice and a trial swim, we will be covering the following topics;


    •Introduction & Site Rules/Health & Safety

    •What is triathlon – the 4 key disciplines

    •Basic Kit & Optional Kit

    •Before you start

    •Individual Elements – Swim/Bike/Run

    •Dealing with Open Water

    •The Dark Arts of Transition

    –Racking Set Up

    –Swim to Bike

    –Bike to Run

    •Rules & Regulations

    •Questions

    •Trial Session


    We will give you a copy of the course materials and a swim hat on the day.


    Apart from your good self you will need to bring;


    ·Swimsuit

    ·Wetsuit = socks and gloves if you want them. ( we can hire you a wetsuit for £10)

    ·Goggles

    ·Flip Flops or trainers

    ·Towel

    ·Kit to change into if you want to practice transition


    Please bring a completed induction form with you, or give yourself and extra 10 mins at the start to complete one on the day, if you have not been to Trifarm before.


    If you need to hire a wetsuit there is a £10 charge, please let me have height and weight before the session.


    You should be finished between 12:30 & 1pm.

    Requirements

    Be able to confidently swim 400m.
