  • Description

Join us on a instructor led trip up the River Hamble.

We will start by making sure everyone is safely kitted up and ready to get on the water. As you get on we will teach you the skills you need for the trip. Your instructor will guide you up the beautiful River Hamble stopping to point out the array of wildlife we can find on the river. On our Safaris we will try to have a small break around Manor Farm.

During the trip we will play a few games and take part in some challenges.

Our Sit on top kayaks are extremely stable allowing anyone to give this a go, no experience necessary. So what are you waiting for? join us on the beautiful river Hamble and after only a short paddle you are immersed into the stunning natural surroundings.

If you would like to join in on a double please let us know beforehand. Under 12's are required to be on a double with an adult. Minimum age 10yrs.

Each Safari includes a safety briefing, paddle and buoyancy aid.

    Itinerary

Please arrive 20 minutes before the safari start time as this will allow you to, sign in and get changed before your instructor meets.

You will receive a brief overview of the equipment and technique on land outside The Paddle Centre before collecting your equipment and walking it down to the waters edge.

Your instructor will then help everyone get on the water. Once everyone is on they will go through some coaching to help you control your craft. After this you will start to head up the river. Passing the marinas on the way you'll quickly find yourselves immersed in nature.
