The Fitness Deck based at The Paddle Centre, in partnership with Valkyr Fitness, is an outdoor gym specialising in Strength and Conditioning and Functional Fitness.
This class will be open to everyone 14 years +.
1 hour long functional fitness circuit class based around exercises to help your performance paddle boarding and other water sports as well as general fitness, strength and CV health.
Here's an idea of the type of movements we have planned in the classes 👇🏼
- Balance board movements to help with paddleboarding
- Dumbbell thrusters and push presses.
- Kettlebell swings and squats.
- Sandbag squats, lunges and running.
- Battleropes
- Box jumps
- Barbell Movements
- Body weight movements like press ups, jumping lunges and squats. Plank and abdominal work.
*All movements can be adapted for ability and injuries.
