This is a mixed ability group exercise activity using mats.

Regular Pilates can help improve posture, muscle tone, balance and joint mobility as well as relieve stress and tension. For many elite athletes including dancers, Pilates can help with whole body strength and flexibility as well as help reduce the risk of injury.

What to bring

Please bring a mat, water bottle and a small towel. You will need comfortable footwear and clothing you can move freely in


You will be required to complete a health form called a PAR-Q to tell us what you health and physical limitations might be. The instructor will discuss your responses on your first visit to the centre.


Pilates is a series of controlled exercises that engage the mind and conditions the whole body. The blend of strength and flexibility training improves posture, reduces stress and helps to tone your muscles without bulking up. If you want a gentle exercise that will help both your mind and body then look no further!! You'll leave the class feeling calm and relaxed
