2:5 hour Intro SUP session

Fun, Fitness and Adventure.


You’re never too old to try something new and maybe you might just get hooked

This stand up paddleboard session is open to all abilities, from complete beginners, to those who have paddled before. You will need to be able to swim and be confident in the water. A certain level of flexibility and ability to get up to standing from kneeling is required for learning to paddleboard.

Covid 19 restrictions

We follow Government and Sport NGB guidelines. It is therefore essential that we look after our self's and others whilst taking exercise in our chosen sport.


Itinerary

Please aim to arrive 15 mins before session start time.

Example below AM session (PM session starts at 13:30)

Session can be bespoke ie timings, group and weather conditions.

Sessions start at 11am on Sundays


10:00 am - 11:30 am intro to SUP skills, you should all be standing and mastered some basic skills and possibly some more technical skills by the end of this

11:30 am - 12:00 pm XL Fun session all aboard race and games( Sorry same House hold groups only on the XL Board)

12:00 pm - 12:30 ish Break into teams and play SUP Polo with your new SUP skills lots of fun and can be a bit competitive:) (A good non contact social distance game)

All kit and PPE is provided I can cater for most sizes of quality wet suits/cags and I have a selection of neoprene tops if it’s too hot for wet suits. If you have your own wetsuits/shorty wetsuits please feel free to bring them.

£37 pp (£32 under 18’s must be accompanied by adult family member please Minimum age 8) price covers everything including water fees, tuition, parking, Wet suit, Neoprene top, Windproof Cag, PFD and all SUP equipment.

What do you need to bring:

Towel to get changed, swim wear/shorts for under wetsuit, trainers/wet shoes, any medications you may need. Sun cream, Hat, Water

Cancellation and Bad Weather

Occasionally, due to bad weather (high winds), instructor availability or very low booking numbers, we may need to cancel your paddle board session. On these occasions we will attempt to reschedule your lesson, and if this is not an option, we will offer you a credit voucher or full refund. We will always endeavour to contact you as soon as we are able to discuss the options with you.

If you need to cancel or reschedule your session, you will need to give us a minimum of 48 hours’ notice. Please email or call us on 07984247519.

Physical requirements

You do not need to be a proficient swimmer, but should be comfortable with falling into water while wearing a buoyancy aid.

A certain level of flexibility and ability to get up to standing from kneeling is required for learning to paddle board.

We will also need to know of any recent injuries prior to the session.

Shared toilets on site are open but changing rooms and showers are not open.

You are advised to shower / wash after the session if you have fallen in, and need to ensure that any open cuts are covered.

What to bring

Cancellations

Standard: Guaranteed full refund if cancelling 72h prior.

You will be entitled to a full refund under the following circumstances:

  • If your booking is under £200 and you cancelled at least a full 24h prior to the activity start time.
  • If your booking is over £200 and you cancelled at least a full 72h prior to the activity start time.
  • If the centre cancels the activity at any time.

If the conditions on the day aren’t ideal but the activity is still taking place, refunds & rescheduling will only be provided under special circumstance
