Our recreational sailing sessions run on a Thursday Evening 17:00-20:00 and Sunday Afternoons 13:30-16:30 both single and double handed dinghies are available.

What is Recreational Sailing?

Join us at Southampton Water Activities Centre for our supervised sailing sessions - rent our sailing dinghies and just bring yourselves!

Recreational sailing is the perfect way to gain experience and time on the water after completing Adult Basic Skills Level 2 / Youth Stage 3 in a safe, supervised way. Our friendly instructors are on hand to answer questions, offer top tips and solve any problems you may have afloat. If Youth sailors wish to attend they must be accompanied by a suitably qualified adult.
