Description
A course that teaches you the skills and knowledge required to deliver the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) Powerboat Scheme up to Level 2 and Safety Boat. You must complete the powerboat instructor pre skills assessment (1 day) in order to be eligible for the course. Candidates wishing to teach the Safety Boat course must hold the Safety Boat certificate themselves.

Requirements
What to bring
Meals
Participants should bring a packed lunch, you are welcome to use the fridge and microwave at the centre. Alternatively, lunch can be purchased from nearby shops and restaurants.
Refreshments
Hot drinks and water are available from the Centre.
Valuables
We do have a small safe onsite that can hold phones and car keys, however we suggest leaving expensive valuables at home.
Clothing List
We will provide all specialist equipment such as buoyancy aids, wetsuits and waterproofs.
We advise you bring:
- Closed toe footwear
- Warm layers would be useful such as a fleece or jumper. It can be much cooler on the water.
- Woolly hat / Sun hat
- Change of clothes - other than the ones you will wear afloat
- Towel, Sun Glasses & security strap, sun screen.
Please bring your PB2 license, and a Passport Photo of yourself.
