Description
Active Windsurf courses are designed around the RYA Youth Windsurf Scheme; beginner covers stages one and two over a fun, hands-on week. We start the lessons close to the shore, teaching children the parts of the board and rig and to sail away and return to a chosen start point. We keep each session as practical as possible; as confidence grows we sail further from the centre and play games to develop skills and understanding. By the end of the week they should all be able to sail on all points of sail in light winds know how to turn around both directions.
