Description

South West SUP offer stand up paddleboard (SUP) lessons and board hire from their unique urban location in Plymouth’s Royal William Yard. For the Plymouth History Festival, South West SUP will offer history tours of Plymouth Waterfront afloat on Stand-Up Paddleboards giving a unique view of the hidden treasures in Plymouth Sound.


Depending on weather and tide conditions, tours could include; Devil’s Point, Drake’s Island, Mount Edgcumbe Country Park, Millbay, Plymouth Hoe, and/or the Barbican. Details of planned routes will be shared on Social Media before the event after consulting with instructors.


Tours will usually start from Firestone Bay, Royal William Yard, however may be at another location around Plymouth’s waterfront depending on the route decided.


The tour will start out with a brief introduction/lesson to SUP from our fully certified instructors in sheltered waters, before starting the guided tour. Open to those new to SUP or experience paddleboarders.

Cancellations

Standard: Guaranteed full refund if cancelling 72h prior.

You will be entitled to a full refund under the following circumstances:

  • If your booking is under £200 and you cancelled at least a full 24h prior to the activity start time.
  • If your booking is over £200 and you cancelled at least a full 72h prior to the activity start time.
  • If the centre cancels the activity at any time.

If the conditions on the day aren’t ideal but the activity is still taking place, refunds & rescheduling will only be provided under special circumstance
