You will need a good pair of walking shoes or boots.
Please bring a copy of your travel insurance to the pre departure meeting.

Itinerary
Itinerary
Please note that due to the nature of adventure travel, we may have to move the itinerary around.
Arrival day 1:
Free time to explore Istanbul. We suggest arriving early to enjoy this amazing city. We will meet at the Orient Hostel at 6pm for a pre departure meeting.
There is an option to visit a Belly Dancing Show and your tour leader will also take those of you who want to go, out for dinner (own expense).
Overnight Istanbul.
Day 2:
After breakfast we take a drive through olive groves and rural settlements to Gallipoli and the Straits of the Dardanelles. We will be stopping for lunch en-route, which we will make from the truck kitchen - everyone can help prepare!
There will be free time to take a look around Eceabat and to visit the famous Boomerang bar!
Own expense dinner in a restaurant of your choice.
Overnight Eceabat.
Day 3:
Packed breakfast.
An early start takes us to the Battlefields of WW1. We are joined by an informative guide and we take the truck around the exposed peninsula, where ANZAC and British Forces struggled unsuccessfully for nine horrendous months to dislodge Turkish troops from the hills above the beaches.
We take lunch on the road, again from the truck kitchen, as we drive towards Troy.
There is a short ferry ride across the Dardanelles to Canakkale and onwards to the ancient city of Troy. We suggest taking one of the audio guides around the site to bring the various areas to life.
We return back to Eceabat and overnight. Dinner at own expense.
Day 4
We take a steady drive back to Istanbul, aiming to arrive back in Sultanahmet, Istanbul by mid afternoon.
