We run our surf sessions from the award winning trip advisor beach of Putsborough, which is part of the idilic Woolacombe Bay.

Our surf sessions cater for beginners to advanced surfers. Coaching sessions are open to 6 - 80 year olds if your game?!

The picturesque beach of Putsborough has a quiet relaxed feel, golden sands and lots of rock pools to explore. It also has a lovely family run cafe with great coffee and awesome food.

Our surf school has been going since 1998 and Nick Thorn is a Level 4 National Master surf coach. We have picked Putsborough beach for its quietness in the summer months and sheltered beach in the winter.

We advise everyone to bring warm clothes and trunks/costume to put under their wetsuit. All equipment is inclusive in the 2 hour surf session.

Our coaching sessions are broken down into basic but helpfull sections. Firstly we meet you, say hi and do all the registration formalities and get into our wetsuits. We provide changing facilities.

The surf session then heads to the beach with an introduction to your equipment, a talk through basic safety, hand signals etc and the basics on how to catch waves.

Then time to get wet and catch some waves. It normally takes 1-2 sessions to stand.

After 2 hours of tackling the atlantic ocean you will be ready for hot chocolate!
