Adventure Coaching Weekend

A retreat designed to allow you to make wonderful new changes in your life with professional coaches on-hand to help you to have a truly unique experience. Before the retreat begins you will be sent some homework to help you decide how you would like to use the weekend in the most powerful way for you. Set in a beautiful & remote Dartmoor location, nestled by itself in the forest. This retreat provides you with as much time & space for yourself as you wish. Adventurous activities such as climbing and abseiling will be provided, as well as light activities such as guided walks, yoga sessions and bushcraft techniques. The sleeping arrangements are no-frills dorms with single bunk beds. If you like your privacy, hotels or large comfy beds then this isn't the location for you. If you're looking for some extra adventure and peace and quiet then you are welcome to bring your tent and pitch up in the woodland for the weekend. Personal coaching sessions as well as group coaching activities are available throughout the weekend for the purpose of self exploration and development. Guided meditation and mindfulness sessions are also provided to further explore ways of developing well-being and presence. Healthy, sustainable and ethical food (meat free and for the most part dairy free) will be available throughout the course, with an expert chef on hand throughout the retreat, to keep your body and mind fulfilled.

Day 1

1900 Arrive in the evening. Eat your first of many nourishing and delicious meals. Explore the beauty of the surroundings, meet the coaches and other attendees and learn about the upcoming weekend. Settle down by the open fire and make yourself at home.

Day 2

The morning begins with a Yoga and mindfulness session. Then settle down for a nourishing breakfast. After breakfast we start the day by exploring some different practices to begin the day in a grateful and mindful way. The rest of the day is used for activities. We usually go for a group walk before lunch and allow the opportunity for conversations and exploration of the beautiful woodland to happen naturally. After Lunch there is the opportunity to try out rock climbing, natural firelighting, or simply read a book, nap, and go for a stroll by yourself. The choice is yours. After dinner, Relax and unwind, some gentle group activities and games will be available, or simply settle down by a fire and let yourself unwind.

Day 3

More yoga followed by an extended mindfulness and guided meditation session before breakfast. After Breakfast you will have the opportunity for your final coaching sessions, which typically take place using the woodland as an opportunity for a walk and talk. The coaching sessions will look at how you will bring positive change into your future. Or simply enjoy the beautiful wilderness in your own way one last time. 1300 is time for a quick snack before heading home at 1400.
