These courses would suit climbers looking to transition from indoor to outdoor, or single pitch climbers looking gain more knowledge and skills towards progressing into multi pitch venues.
We will progress your climbing knowledge throughout day 1 by teaching you about gear placement and the fundamentals of 'bomber' gear. We will link gear together to build belays and discuss climbing principles such as ABC, IDEAS & EARNEST to give a solid foundation of knowledge to work from moving forward.
Day 2 would be a consolidation of the skills learnt on day 1, on a multi pitch or mountain crag. We will look after you in this terrain and create opportunites for you to make decisions in a mountain environment and work towards becoming a more well-rounded, independent climber.

This course is suited for people with indoor climbing experience or people progressing from single pitch to multi pitch climbing
Meet on location
Day 1: Briefings, kit issue, walk in.
Climbing preparations, develop knowledge, gear placements, belay principles.
Day 2: Walk in, complete multi pitch route, build belays, practice lead belaying, gain climbing independence

Cancellation Policy
CANCELLATION
In the unlikely event we have to cancel, we will offer a full refund if an alternate date can't be offered.
Winter course conditions: It may be necessary to change the outline of the courses to offer general mountaineering/mountain skills programmes with part refunds.
We can also issue vouchers to be used on other events or sessions with us.
Should you wish to cancel, we are flexible where possible and can possibly re-arrange dates for a more convenient time. If the cancellation is within 30 days then we reserve the right to issue a part refund and take a deposit of 50% for administration fees. If cancellation is within 14 days of the activity we reserve the right to retain the full amount.
COVID-19
If the activity cannot go ahead due to COVID regulations we will be able to offer a part refund. We would hold the right to retain a booking fee of £40 to cover administration costs; the remaining balance will be refunded.
