Come to class on Sundays and enjoy a passive form of yoga that is deeply nourishing and nurturing. Yin is a slow and gentle exploration of poses that target the deeper connective tissues of the body, you get a good stretch and time to melt away stress as we stay in the poses for around 3 to 5 minutes.

Yin can provide a really great release for tensions in the body and mind and is great for improving flexibility too.

Yin is also a more medative practice, spending longer in the poses helps us to take the time to connect to what we feel both physically, mentally & emotionally & explore what arises. We explore different themes, ideas, feelings, emotions, concepts and have a beautiful soothing playlist to accompany us on the journey.

The body likes to be supported in Yin postures and when it is supported well we are able to let go and release more. To practice you will need a yoga mat and it is recommended to bring supports, these can be yoga bricks/blocks if you have those or some cushions and a blanket to roll up can be a great support.

This is a beautiful practice of slowing down and stillness. If you're someone who struggles with this and would like a tonic to that busy hectic life this could be just what you need. Yin will rejuvenute, nourish and nurture and help you on a path to finding inner peace and calm.

Come and give it a go. I love it and think you will too.
