The Brazilian – A Kitesurfing Downwinder Heaven. Great For Beginners & Experts Alike.

    Cost: £1900 (Limited Places)

Both beginners and experts alike love doing downwinders and so we bring you the ultimate down winder trip: The Brazilian.

    So, Why “The Brazilian”?

Well, it’s simple really, as Brazil ticks all the boxes when it comes to downwinders: constantly reliable wind conditions, warm temps & a visually stunning coastline with amazing food and super cool vibes thrown in for free.

More Details: Once you arrive in Fortaleza, Brazil you will be taken care of. You will be transferred to our starting point a stunning villa in the quiet village Guajiru where you will meet the rest of the guys & girls before embarking on this great adventure.

We use local guides who know the area well, who will take us to hidden gems such as secret lagoons & epic wave spots & plenty of local bars & restaurants to chill at along the way, whilst we stay at luxury villas and pousadas as we complete this ultimate down winder.

    What’s Involved ?

This promises to be a great adventure. We spend a number of days near Fortaleza in a wonderful villa just a short walk from the sea to get our sea legs before embarking on the downwinder challenge. The total route is approximately 100 miles with plenty of stops and opportunities to explore the local flora & fauna.

What’s Included In The Price ?

    ·    Accommodation: We will be staying at several villa’s, houses and pousadas during this trip with comfort & distance to the beach being priority. You share your room with someone else (unless you pay for your own room)

    ·    The Downwinder Challenge & Back Up: We will have appropriate transportation for pickup at Fortaleza airport & transportation to your respective accommodation & throughout the downwinder.

    ·    Food: Breakfast, lunch and dinner plus snacks & drinks will be provided during the actual downwinder challenge (approx. 9 days).

    ·    Chilling Time: The downwinder itself is split into 2 phases with a well deserved break to help you relax & outside of this we have a few days either side of the downwinder to prepare, party & chill & yes still kite if you want to!

    ·    Back Up: Support crew will shadow you whilst you are on the downwinder & provide support where & when needed whilst also transporting luggage & carrying your spares & repair equipment for kites etc

What’s Not Included In The Price ?

    ·    Flights: Your return flight to Fortaleza. You will need to arrange this yourself. KLM and TAP offer direct flights to Fortaleza airport from Europe. With KLM including free board bags.

    ·    Medical & Travel Insurance: We do our best to eliminate any issues that could arise during your trip, but we do not have control over everything & so recommend you purchase appropriate travel & medical insurance accordingly

    ·    Visa & Vaccinations: A visa is not required at this time, however passports have to be valid for 6 more months from entry & we recommend the following vaccinations: Hepatitis A & B, Typhoid, Yellow Fever and Rabies

    ·    Lessons: The opportunity to take lessons will be made available to you whether you need to brush up or want to learn some new tricks before embarking on the challenge. Great for those who may need a little help at the start.

OK, I’m Interested & Want To Sign Up Now..

That’s great ! So let’s get you started with the details below.

Stage 1. You need to pay a £200 non-refundable deposit per person to secure your place.

This shows us that you are serious about this trip and as we only have 12 places per trip we want to ensure that you get your place.

Stage 2. Upon receiving your deposit we will then send details about sorting the rest of payment, and the schedule for this.

The payment schedule depends on how close we are to the trip itself and can differ from one person to the next so this will be customised to you.

Stage 3. We then need to know your flight details & medical insurance so we can arrange transfer to / from your accommodation & whether you have any special requests (own room, food allergies or lessons for example)

We want your trip to be as smooth as possible starting from picking you up from the airport and caring for your needs all the way through, so the more info we have here the better

Stage 4. The finer details will be sent to you, such as recommended equipment and clothing, the localities, customs & culture, whom you will be sharing a room with (if anyone) etc.

It’s good to know local customs etc & who else will be on the tour and so we will forward as much information as possible to keep you in the loop.
