Learn to Windsurf with our semi private RYA START windsurfing syllabus..

Our RYA Start windsurfing private Lessons package is designed to give complete beginners and those with some previous experience a thorough introduction to windsurfing, using beginner boards and lightweight rigs, you will learn all the basic windsurfing techniques to get you started in this great sport..

If you have no prior wind sports or sailing experience experience we highly recommend you sign up to the wind sports intro as you'll save money and have an understanding of the basics involved prior to the 2 hour water session

Course Content Includes: Setting up the equipment and how to use it. Balancing on a board. Windsurfing in a straight line & how to steer the board. Turning around (up wind aka "tacking" & downwind aka "gybing"). Working on sailing back to your starting point.

Essentially, you will be windsurfing with a degree of control and confidence whilst learning new skills and having fun. We provide all training and safety equipment and can hire a wetsuit to you (£10) if you don"t have your own.

Meeting Point: Our usual meeting point is outside Billys Beach Cafe in Bracklesham Bay but we will look to go elsewhere if the conditions are not suitable at this location (you will be informed if this is the case)

You must be able bodied and able to swim 50m unaided to do this lesson

1. Own wetsuit & kit (if not hiring one of ours)
2. Sun cream & sun glasses
3. Old trainers
4. Wetsuit boots (cold weather)
5. Neoprene hat (cold weather)
6. Neoprene gloves (cold weather)
7. A stoked attitude !
