  • Description

Intro: This is a hour intro to windsurfing course that is designed for people that have had zero or very little experience with windsurfing before. It is a mandatory course for anyone new to the sport of windsurfing as it not only provides practical experience in use of a windsurfing board and sail power but also covers essential safety, site reconnaissance, set up and regulations & signals that you need to be understand & be practiced in prior to starting this wonderful sport. So, Why should you do the intro course: To make things more clear and answer properly here, imagine if you took up say sky diving (another awesome activity) ..You would not expect to jump out of the plane straight away, would you ? I assume that you would want to know that you packed your parachute correctly, that the conditions were favourable and that you jumped and deployed at the right altitude and that you understood how to deploy your secondary if needed, right? So the same for windsurfing.... We want you to be fully confident and competent in your abilities before we put you on the water and therefore this is why you need to do the introduction course Timings: This course has a scheduled start time which we try our best to adhere to. However, it is open to adjustment according to the weather / tides / and or other commitments of the school, so, if this is the case we will let you know accordingly.
