  • Description

These awesome SUP Skillz sessions for adults will be with an experienced BSUPA Level 2 Instructor or a BSUPA Trainer, at the beautiful Trifarm swimming lake in Boreham.

Bring your own board and paddle (£38) or use ours (£55) To use ours, you must select it in the options in the booking process.

These very small group sessions are suitable for all levels of confident adult paddlers (but not complete Beginners) including those who don't own a board or who have a SUP board, and who can stand up and paddle on it competently but want to get better and practice. Brush up on paddling technique, practice step-back buoy turning, or practice self rescue - at this beautiful water-tested swimming lake.

Please note that these sessions are not for beginners. To participate, you must be a competent stand up paddler, who can get back onto their SUP board unaided and have your BSUPA Level 1 'Ready to Ride' certificate, or equivalent. If you don't have this BSUPA Level 1 'Ready to Ride' certificate, but do have your own SUP board, and consider yourself competent to stand up paddle in these sessions, then please email us info@frangipanisupl.com to discuss it before making your booking, thank you.

Free parking on the site included. Hot/cold drinks, soup and delicious homemade cakes are available for purchase at the Trifarm cabin cafe, after your paddle.

For your safety, there are quite a few important things to consider:

Please complete the waiver form and very important set of safety questions as part of this booking process.

You must be a competent swimmer and able to swim at least 25m clothed.

You must be competent stand up paddler, who can get back onto their SUP board unaided and have your BSUPA Level 1 'Ready to Ride' certificate, or equivalent, to participate.

You must have third party insurance for your own SUP board (you could join BSUPA to obtain insurance.)

Please do not leave kit lying around at the launch flag.

Please paddle on your knees when you are within 2 board's length from the lake edges, which are shallow.

Please don't jump or dive off your SUP board as you could seriously injure yourself!

You may bring spectators with you onto the site in your car. They can walk around the lake using the gravel footpath. However, any spectator aged 17 years or younger must be supervised closely at all times by their parent or legal guardian whilst on the site and must be kept well away from the lake edges, staying on the gravel footpath. Sorry but a parent/legal guardian can not paddle themselves and leave their child unsupervised in their van/car or at the side of the lake. Dogs are welcome but must kept on their leads at all times.

Please read the safety page on our website for more information.

    Thank you :)
