Three Bridges and Three Inches

Description

Join us on an exhilarating one hour trip and experience the Three Bridges and Three Inches from the water. We will depart the town pier at North Queensferry and head east towards Inchcolm Island, blasting past the Haystack en route.

We will take a turn south and head across to Oxcars lighthouse and Inchmickery Island, This should be a great opportunity to see puffins which burrow into the small cliffs on the island!

Blasting back west, we will see Hound Point oil terminal then Inchgarvie Island, while taking a closer look at the Forth Rail Bridge, the Forth Road Bridge and the Queensferry Crossing. This will be a great opportunity to get some unique photos of the bridges. There should also be plenty of opportunities to see seals, along the way.

What to bring

It is much colder out on the water than it is on land. We therefore suggest that you wear warm clothes and bring the following items:

hats and gloves
waterproofs (if you have them)

Requirements

Our trip is not suitable for everyone and could put the following at an increased level of risk. Below are some examples. Please note this list is not exhaustive:

Very young children
People with reduced mobility
Those who are pregnant
Those suffering from conditions resulting in decreased bone strength
People with a history of back or spine conditions or injuries
Anyone who is unable to effectively brace themselves during turns or impacts

Itinerary

After being issued with waterproofs and a lifejacket and receiving a safety briefing we will head east towards Inchcolm Island blasting past the Haystack en route.

Cancellations

Rigid: Guaranteed full refund if cancelling 5 days prior.

You will be entitled to a full refund under the following circumstances:

If your booking is under £200 and you cancelled at least a full 72h prior to the activity start time.
If your booking is over £200 and you cancelled at least a full 5 days prior to the activity start time.
If the centre cancels the activity at any time.

If the conditions on the day aren’t ideal but the activity still takes place, you will not be eligible for a refund.
