We are putting on an exciting series of Powerboat Continual Professional Development opportunities for existing instructors. These are heavily subsidised by the RYA.
Sessions will be either 1/2 or Full Days and either at Intermediate or Advanced level, although there is no requirement to hold these tickets to come along. They are intended as taster opportunities or to brush up on existing skills.
We will be covering skills relating to Practical Small Boat Navigation including Tides, Chartwork, Passage Planning, Pilotage, Compasses, Electronic Navigation and Seamanship
Half Day Session Times
27/7- AM - 1000-1400
24/8- PM- 1300-1800
Lunch/Dinner will not be provided, so please either bring your own food or you can drive/walk to the shops at lunchtime.
Please bring the appropriate clothing as we unfortunately cannot supply these items. Drysuits/foul weather gear is recommended, with boots or shoes you don’t mind getting wet. It is also a good idea to bring dry clothes to go home in just in case.
Please also remember sun cream, hats and sunglasses when appropriate, and plenty of warm clothing.
Lifejackets with lights will be provided.
