Advanced Coasteering

coasteer - Up to 12 people

Aimed at adventurous, able adults or confident teenagers who have completed the Intermediate Coasteering sessions and are looking for a unique and memorable coastal experience. This activity will provide more physical and mental challenges as we guide you along a stunning stretch of wild coastline, and will be sure to provide some adrenaline fuelled adventure! A good swimming and climbing ability is paramount. Jumps are capped at 10m for all our levels but expect to do a wider array of larger jumps. The biggest difference however is the difficulty of climbs, "highballing" up to the jumps rather than taking the easy route and exploring more exposed areas and getting amongst more whitewater.

You’ll spend two hours exploring an awe-inspiring stretch of sheer cliffs, interspersed with coves and caves. We’ll traverse swell-swept ledges, swim through wave gullies and across open stretches of water and climb up progressively higher ledge systems to launch ourselves off some spectacular jumps along the way.

Our primary venue for intermediate coasteering is Port Gaverne (neighbouring Port Isaac), however we have a number of alternative locations to allow us to make the most of the sea and weather conditions.

Participants must be 16 or over and strong swimmers familiar with the sea.

Advanced Coasteering costs £80 per person and includes the use of all necessary equipment, including a warm 5mm wetsuit, thick-soled wetsuit boots, a buoyancy aid and a helmet. All you need to bring is a towel and swimwear.

What to bring

Please note - we don’t have any changing facilities, therefore you will be getting changed on the beach so please bring a changing robe or large towel.

Strong swimming ability, an aptitude for climbing and regularly partakes in physical activity. Being comfortable with physical exertion in restrictive water sports equipment for a duration of approximately 2 hours is paramount.
