·Learn some basic kayaking skills before setting off as a group to explore the surrounding coastline in the company of one of the National Trust rangers responsible for our stretch of coast.
·Accessible to all
·Discover secret coves, unspoilt sandy beaches, venture into otherwise inaccessible caves and spot some of the amazing marine wildlife and seabirds that live here, with commentary from one of the experts who looks after the area.
·Includes the use of all necessary equipment, including a warm wetsuit, thick-soled wetsuit boots, a buoyancy aid and a helmet as well as the sit-on-top kayak and paddle.
·We primarily use double sit-on-top sea kayaks that are extremely stable and allow you to paddle efficiently either alone or as a pair.
·Participants must be eight years old or over and competent swimmers (i.e. be able to swim 25M in a pool unaided), although we can accommodate younger children if accompanied by a carer and subject to conditions and availability.
·We ask that preferably children under 14 years old are accompanied by an adult however this is only a recommendation and not essential.
