Welcome to Bath's ONLY BSUPA (British Stand Up Paddle Association) recognised paddleboarding school.
This paddleboarding event is not only designed with the beginner in mind, but also for those who fancy a bit of a confidence or skills boost within just a small group.
You'll be with a BSUPA qualified Paddleboard instructor working in a group of no more than 6 persons to 1 instructor, so we can work closely with you to fulfil your personal needs and requirements on a paddleboard and to help you develop your confidence in a safe environment.
You do not need to be able to swim to enjoy this phenomenal activity as buoyancy aids are mandatory and will of course be provided.
You session will begin with an in-depth, land based safety and skills briefing before you venture out onto the water in front of our launch area. This is where we will help you to develop your skills and confidence before heading off at your pace along the beautiful River Avon.
As with all of our sessions, once you have finished we will give you a single use voucher that entitles you to a fabulous 15% off at The Boathouse for that day so that you can end your session with a celebratory treat.
Please note that the minimum age requirement for this particular activity is 10 years old, however, younger children are very welcome but will need to sit on the same board as an adult. There is NO CHARGE for younger children sharing a board!
