A self guided adventure for couples, families or households is a great socially distanced way of getting into outside spaces and to explore a little closer to home.

You will be supplied with buoyancy aids, which must be worn on all of our activities, beautifully stable Stand Up Paddleboards, paddles and a dry bag for your needs. A guide will provide a socially distanced briefing before you journey into the Back of Beyond….

Equipment is cleaned between every session.

Pack a picnic, bring a towel, enjoy some socially distanced exercise and activity in outdoor places and make it an adventure to remember!

Please note that all paddlers under 18 years of age must be accompanied on the water with a parent or guardian.

You should be confident on and around water and need to be able to swim 50 metres.

You will start the session paddling on your knees before transitioning to standing, therefore, a degree of flexibility is needed to do this.

You are going to be paddling beautifully stable boards but due to the nature of the activity, there is a chance that you may get wet.

ARRIVAL

1. CAR There is free parking on River Lane but it gets full very quickly especially on sunny weekends. So make sure to give yourself enough time to find parking
2. BIKE You can lock your bike up along the fence at River Lane
3. PUBLIC TRANSPORT it s a 20 min walk from Richmond train station, alternatively a bus goes from outside the station to the end of River Lane

Our friendly team will provide you with dry bags, PFDs (buoyancy aids) and your SUP and paddle.

A 2 hour Self Guided SUP Adventure between Richmond Bridge and Teddington Lock starting from River Lane.
