A fun kids sup session as part of the Brentford Open Day.

What to bring

What to wear?

No specialist clothing is required. Active wear such as shorts, t-shirt or light layers are fine in warm weather. No cotton/jean/denim as this stays cold when wet. If it is chilly, add a fleece and waterproofs. Footwear is mandatory. Bring an extra pair of sandals or trainers you don’t mind getting wet to paddle in.

Wetsuits are available on request. Towel and a change of clothes is good to have.


Requirements

The child must be able to swim and be confident in the water.

They will be wearing a personal floatation device (PFD)

Cancellations

General cancellation notice - Non refundable but can be flexible with reschedules and credit notes

CANCELLATIONS AND/OR CHANGES MADE BY THE CUSTOMER: 


1. Changes to group bookings made by You:

If, after a group booking has been confirmed, you reduce your numbers the payment will be forfeited for any cancelled members. You must notify us in advance (at least 48hrs) of an increase in numbers, we will endeavour to accommodate an increase wherever possible.

2. Cancellation by you 5 days before – other sessions incl. hire

In the event of cancellation by you we do not issue refunds but we understand that things happen and sometimes dates need to be changed. If you inform us by email 5 days before your booked session, we will be happy to reschedule your session to a mutually convenient day / time for free.

Every subsequent reschedule by you (5 days notice applies) will be subject to £15 admin fee. 

* we require email: [email protected] as the main way of contacting us regarding cancellations/rescheduling as we receive a high volume of phone enquires which are dealt with by a number of staff and it is important we have a record of these; you are welcome to follow up with a phonecall after sending the email. 

3. Cancellation by you less than 5 days but more than 72hrs before 

In the event of cancellation by you we do not issue refunds but we understand that things happen and sometimes dates need to be changed. If you inform us by email less than 5 days before the booked session but more than 48hrs before the session, we will be happy to reschedule your session to a mutually convenient day / time at £10 admin fee.

Every subsequent reschedule by you (5 days notice applies) will be subject to another £15 admin fee.

4. Cancellation by you less than 72hrs before 

If you wish to cancel/reschedule your session with less 72hrs notice a full fee will be charged. 

As a gesture of good will we may offer you a discount (10-30%) on a future booking made by you (depending on a type of session i.e. group/ private session or equipment hire). Please ask us at the time of cancellation. We will not be able to apply discounts retrospectively without a record of request. 

5. Missed sessions

We do not issue any refunds for missed sessions. 


CANCELLATIONS AND/OR CHANGES MADE BY ACTIVE360


1. Cancellations by Active360 

We very rarely need to cancel or postpone sessions due to inclement weather, adverse river conditions or circumstances beyond our control e.g. unexpected river closures, red flag warnings etc. In such situations we will offer an alternative day/time at no extra charge accommodating your requirements as much as possible or a credit note for future booking if you are unable to make immediate alternative plans.  

Refunds will be considered in some circumstances but these are only made on individual basis.  

Weather conditions in the UK are changeable and we are used to operating in various conditions. When the conditions are not favourable we may contact you in advance to see whether you still wish to continue with your booking or you would rather postpone. 

We are not able to accommodate customers’ weather preferences and we have run some of our best and memorable sessions in challenging conditions e.g. rain and/or wind. 

Please share your concerns with us and we will be happy to discuss with you and make any reasonable adjustments to ensure you have an enjoyable experience.  

* All our business clients are advised to take out insurance against cancellation of event. Individual clients may wish to consider exploring this option. 

2. Changes to group sessions by Active360

Active360 reserves the right to reschedule timetabled group sessions due to low client demand (min. number of participants not reached) or instructor unavailability. Alternative dates will always be offered to customers at no extra charge.
