(BCAB) Paddlesport Safety and Rescue

The PSRC is a Safety course that explores the safety and rescue techniques needed for sheltered water experiences. As a great skill to cover, you will have a look at rescuing varying crafts from different crafts, with thinking about unconscious, incapacitated and self rescues. This is also the pre-requisite for the Paddlesport Instructor course, whilst assisting with Paddlesport Leader assessments too.

This course is a mix of on the water and classroom; therefore, bring paper and pens to take notes, paddling equipment (could include your own craft) to be on the water, and a sense of humour- including, lunch, snacks, and drinks.

The course will start on the side looking through the safety elements of the course and then gradually becoming more wet throughout the day.
