Surf Lesson

Experience the thrill of surfing with Long Line Surf School! Learn the basics of surfing on one of Ireland's longest beaches, located in Limavady. Our experienced instructors are here to guide you through two hours of fun and adventure as you take on the waves of the Atlantic Ocean. Suitable for all ages, even children under 14 can participate with an accompanying adult. Minimum age is 6 years old and those aged 6-7 must be accompanied by a non-surfing adult in the water. 2. It’s ideal that you can swim 50 meters. If this is not the case we do ask that all participants have a reasonable level of open water confidence. Lessons are held in waist depth water, which make the activity safe and fun regardless of your swimming ability.

1. Arrive at the Surf Cabin where you will meet you instructor and be given your wetsuit.
2. Walk down the boardwalk to the beach where your surfboards will be ready.
3. Learn how to catch waves in the prone (bodyboard) position.
4. Try our 3 stage pop up to get standing on your surfboard.
5. The Long Line Instructor will provide individual feedback and help progress your skills whatever stage you may be at in your surf journey.
