Description
SUP (stand up paddle boarding) is an exciting alternative for water lovers who are looking for a new thrill. You propel yourself on a large stable board in the water and use the paddle to propel yourself forward (or backwards!) & steer. It takes some practice, but under our expert guidance you will get the hang of balancing on the board and perfect your paddling technique in no time at all. We run a 2 hour group intro session which consists of 1 hour coaching with 1 hour free hire afterwards or if you prefer you can stay with your instructor and take a tour and get more expert tuition if you take the tour option.
We also offer a giant paddle board option which can be fun for a family or group of up to 8 people and works out to around the same price when you have 4 people sharing.
We provide all the necessary equipment and expert tuition apart from wetsuits (which can be hired from us, within this booking process, if needed). After you have booked all you then need do is turn up & be able-bodied, and able to swim 50m to participate...Please Note: If anyone is under 18 but over 12 all we ask is that a parent or guardian accompany them ( no under 12's sorry ). If a child is considered not strong enough to manage their paddle board we may ask that they share the instructor's or parents paddle board.
Meeting Point: We meet at Hunston Pontoon, in Hunston near Chichester. There is a free car park nearby and you just have to look for a big red jumbo transit van. We recommend you arrive at least 30 minutes before you start time as the car park can be busy during the summer and you will need time to get changed too...Please Note - Sorry but no toilets in the car park.
