SW Lakes  Dorset Fisheries

Lovely looking stretches of chalk stream but when went it was just too high and coloured I think. Only small stuff caught.
Car park gives easy access and fishing shop just round the corner.
Will return tho.

Great fishery on the Hampshire Avon, can get a little busy at times though.

Stunning surroundings and very well kept.  No sign of the barbel during a weekend visit, however some cracking roach from the house pool on the Avon float.  Beware of the pike which have a habit of lurking in the margins and make a grab for the fish.  Some amazing sea trout as well.

Great historic fishery. Well managed and always the possibility of a great catch. It's compact, bursting with features and well managed. A true mixed water I had a great day targeting some visible chub by the railway bridge - with some success ! Will visit again.
