Beginner Raft Racing Sessions (Thu)

Our Introduction to Raft Racing sessions are back for 2025!

Getting instruction from our fantastic coaches as well as some of our GB club paddlers, these sessions will give you all the skills you need to feel comfortable controlling a raft as part of a team down the Whitewater course.

These will be running on a Thursday evening from 5:45-7:30, with us spending time on both the flat water and whitewater course each session. All bookings will be done via eola and limited on numbers, so make sure you book on!

Paddlers must be aged 14+ to attend this session.

All paddlers must either be club members or temporary members, temporary membership is £3 and covers you for three sessions on the third session you are asked to become full members. We will check membership.

What to Bring

These sessions will be held on the whitewater course, so please wear clothing you are happy to get wet and that will keep you warm. Wetsuits are ideal.

You will also need a pair of trainers on your feet.
