Select Schools Winter Evenings League

The Select Schools Winter Evenings League are an ideal opportunity to have a go at racing at an entry level, whilst competing against some of the best bright young stars (including Welsh Squad Members) North Wales has to offer!

Organised and run by Snowsport Wales (SSW) and the North Wales Snowsports Club (NWSC), they will be open to all schools in the area, and non-NWSC members are welcome.

The event will consist of up to 1 hour of warm up, followed by around 2 hours of ski racing with timed runs.

NWSC coaches will be on hand to supervise and give advice and guidance where needed.

Participants will need to be a competent skier capable of skiing from the top of the slope making controlled linked turns.

1. Parents of any children under the age of 16 are expected to remain at the centre, within sight of the slope, or make suitable arrangements otherwise, in case they are required.
2. The supervising coach/es will reserve the right to ask participants to leave the slope should their ability not be up to the required standard, and / or potentially be at imminent risk of harming themselves or others.

The price includes hire of equipment from the slope at Llandudno if you don't have your own.

You must bring (your own) gloves, and wet weather gear is advised in case of rain, and baring in mind that there are also sprinklers on the slope to consider.

Helmets are essential for this event.
