An opportunity to have fun racing and test your skills against the clock!
Our Springtime Taster Fun Races run once a month from April to July, and are open to anyone who wants to have a go at racing, or improve their skills.
We aim to run a series of 4 races, the emphasis being on participation. A minimum of 3 runs will be timed through stubby gates, with a short warm up session (at 5.30pm) prior to the race starting at around 6pm.
Race Dates: These will take place on Wednesdays in place of our usual training sessions on those night. The dates for these are as follows:
April 22nd
May 20th
June 17th
July 15th
NB: This entry is for minis (under 12's) only.
Minimum Ability: The events are open to any capable club members (+ guests) to come along and pit themselves against the clock. So, if you can get yourself to the top of the slope (using the lift unaided), and descend in control of speed and direction, navigating obstacles, then you can come a long and take part in this event (Some previous experience of skiing round gates is preferred, our regular Sunday sessions are ideal to have a go at this level!).
As always at our sessions, coaches will be present and available to give tips, advice encouragement and appropriate feedback where needed.
PLEASE NOTE: Please ensure you book no later than the day before as we can't guarantee late entry's will be accepted.

The supervising coach will reserve the right to ask participants to leave the slope should their ability not be up to the required standard, and / or potentially be at imminent risk of harming themselves or others.
You can bring your own ski gear or you can use the hire equipment from the Llandudno, included in the price, should you prefer.
You must bring (your own) gloves, and wet weather gear is advised in case of rain.
Bare in mind that there are also sprinklers on the slope to consider.
