Adult Beginner Surf Lesson

Come and experience one of the most natural, exhilarating, accessible sports we have on the planet, enjoy and appreciate the power and energy of the open ocean waves often travelling 100's of miles before arriving close to the beach pushing you, through your feet, when standing on a surfboard, towards the shore.

There are endless benefits, often described as a 'cleansing' effect. Surf Therapy has now been recognized by clinicians and can be prescribed as medicine! check out locally run The Wave Project Scotland and Groundswell.

Once you have been along there are various options to keep surfing all year round either through Momentum surf school just for the thrill of it! Or Edinburgh and Borders surf club with the very popular kids 'Grom Squad' performance pathways for competing in local and National comps available.

This is an Adult Session, children under 10 are welcome to attend for free with a paying adult.

All equipment is supplied, participants need to be able to swim 50 metres comfortably

Swim costume, towel and sensible clothing, flip flops/sandals if you have them

Turn up, we will issue wetsuits from van along with boots gloves and surfboards, bit of house keeping and local information, proceed to the safest part of the beach 20 mins warm up and chat/instruction, then in the sea for around 1hr 30 mins +
