Sailing Taster Session - Kids

If you ever wanted to give Dinghy Sailing a go, this is your chance!

Our instructor will take you out on our Bahia Dinghy and you will get a chance to crew and helm (steer) the boat.

This is your chance to get out on the water, ask as many questions as you like, and get a taster for the sport.

At SWSA we believe that water sports are for everyone. You don’t need to have any experience, and we provide all the equipment, including wetsuits, buoyancy aids and helmets. Can’t swim? That doesn’t matter - your buoyancy aid will be keep you afloat and we will support and help you build confidence in the water.

1. Minimum age is 8.
2. Maximum age is 14.

We provide all of the equipment required to take part in the activity, however you will need:

1. Swimwear for under the wetsuit
2. Footwear - an old pair of trainers or water shoes (this is a MUST)
3. A towel for afterwards.
4. A drink and snack for afterwards

After being greeted by the team you will get changed and go through a safety briefing.

Soon you will be on the water in a dinghy and have the chance to crew and helm the boat, ask questions and generally enjoy being on the water.
