Description

Eiders are familiar birds around the Arran coast, whose numbers are unfortunately in decline. Surveys to understand the population across the Clyde have taken place for over 20 years.

COAST are looking for volunteers to survey Lamlash Bay from Claughlands Points to Kingscross Point, including the shores of Holy Isle.

The survey will take 2 hours, running from our research vessel COAST explorer, leaving from Lamlash Pier.
