Adult Have a Go Sailing

A fantastic way to try sailing for the first time or take to the water for fun and games with friends and family. This 2 hour instructor led session will provide you with the basic skills to take to the water safely, play games or take a short trip around the lake. Participants will sail small dinghies without an instructor on board during this session.

Small dinghy sailing is likely to involve getting wet and there is the possibility of capsizes.

Price includes use of wetsuits, buoyancy aids and helmets - you will need to bring suitable footwear, swimsuit and towel. A digital disclaimer form must be completed for all participants before arrival for activities – you will receive a link via email after booking.

This is a reduced price session bookable by adults aged 17+. If you are not able to attend this specific time slot or would prefer a private tuition session it is possible to book a bespoke have a go session by contacting our centre directly.

No previous experience necessary

Customer must be water confident wearing a buoyancy aid.

A digital disclaimer form must be completed for all participants before arrival

Buoyancy aids will be provided by us and must be worn correctly and always fastened when on the water (Customers may not wear their own buoyancy aid’s or helmets)

1. Suitable footwear which you don’t mind getting wet such as wetsuit shoes/boots, old trainers, beach shoes. Flip flops/crocs are not suitable.
2. Wetsuits are provided but you are also welcome to bring your own.

4. We also recommend bringing (as appropriate); waterproof coat, sun hat / cream, warm clothes.
