Led by our expert instructors, you’ll explore the serene waterways while mastering paddleboarding techniques. Whether you want to build confidence or a seasoned paddler, we’ll ensure you feel safe, confident and enjoy every moment. Along the way, take in breathtaking views, encounter local wildlife, and embrace the peaceful rhythm of the water.

1. Minimum age: 8

1. Clothing depends on weather. You shouldn't get too wet sailing but you may have to hop in and out of the water so quick drying sports type wear is best.
2. We have wetsuits for you to borrow if you would like.
3. Footwear would ideally be neoprene beach shoes or wetsuit boots or old trainers work just as well. We also some have neoprene shoes to borrow.

2-Hour Paddleboarding Tour

Arrival & Welcome (15 minutes)

1. Meet at Mersea Island Watersports Centre.
2. Greeted by our friendly team; receive a safety briefing and equipment overview.
3. Get fitted with your paddleboard, paddle, and safety gear.

Introductory Session (15 minutes)

1. On-land demonstration of paddleboarding basics.
2. Quick warm-up and practice balancing on your board.
3. Tips and tricks shared by our expert instructors.

Exploration Begins: The Harbour & Islands (60 minutes)

1. Paddle out into the harbour, guided by our instructors.
2. Explore the stunning creeks and islands.
3. Pause for a breather to soak in the scenery, snap photos, and chat with the group.

Return Journey (20 minutes)

1. Head back through the creeks, putting your new skills to the test.
2. Opportunity to try advanced tips (if comfortable).

Wrap-Up & Departure (10 minutes)

1. Back at the centre, celebrate your paddleboarding adventure.
2. Share stories, grab a drink, and browse photos captured during the tour.
