What is Sailability?
Designed to remove the barriers to sailing that face many people with additional needs, Sailability provides tuition in the shape of progressive weekly sessions.
Sessions are delivered by a brilliant team of volunteers with a wealth of experience. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to go sailing regardless of ability.
How do we provide?
SWAC has accessible changing facilities, self righting Access Dinghies that can sit either 1 - 2 people, Dinghies ranging in capacity allowance and a pontoon hoist to allow those of all abilities to make the most of the water that Southampton has to offer! Please be aware that due to the tidal nature of the river the hoist is not always functional, contact the Centre for dates when we can access the hoist, and for any further questions regarding the sessions.
When is it?
Monday evenings, 18:00 - 20:00
Who can we deliver to?
All ages and abilities from 8+
