RYA Sailing Level 2 Course

The RYA Level 2 Basic Skills is one of our most popular courses. 

This is for adults and children, with a ration of 1:6. 

During the 2 day course you'll improve on everything you learnt on your level 1 course. As well as improving on your points of sail, you will learn some important skills such as Man Overboard, Coming alongside another boat. There is also slightly more theory in this course, but don't worry it will be fun! You will also learn a few extra knots. By the end of this course you should be confident in taking a small dinghy out on your own, in the right conditions.

1. Ages 8+
2. Must hold RYA Level 1 sailing.
3. Must be able to sail around a triangular course, refresher lessons recommend before joining the course.

1. A change of clothes.
2. Lunch or money to buy lunch at a local cafe/shop.
3. Children must be collected at lunch time. Usually 12:30-1:30. 
4. Suitable clothing for weather
