Ardingly Activity Centre

Visited Ardingly Activity Centre near Ardingly Reservoir and had a really lovely time. It’s a great spot if you want to spend the day outdoors with family — you can rent kayaks or paddle boats and just enjoy the water in a really peaceful, natural setting.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and there’s even a little café for drinks and snacks which makes it easy to spend a few hours here. Facilities are good too, with washrooms on site. Parking is right at the bottom of the hill near the centre — loads of spaces and it’s free, which is a big plus.

On a sunny day it’s such a nice place to relax, paddle about, or just sit by the lake and take it all in. Definitely recommend if you’re nearby!

Amazing place! We are a family and we had such a wonderful time there, the staff are very friendly and organised. We made the booking online in the same day and found availability! The kayak were in very good conditions. The price is very worth it for the quality time we spent! Paid £15 for single kayak and £20 for double for 1 hour! Very good.

We are a family of 2 adults and a 5 years old child, and rented a 2 seats kayak and a 1 seat kayak, and we had a wonderful time there! Was really nice everything and a perfect funny afternoon for my family.
