Private Charter - Helford River Cruise

We run beautiful boat cruises on The Helford over the high tide exploring this incredible river including the famous Frenchman's Creek.

The boat is a 19ft Cygnus built in Cornwall with a capacity of 10 people on general cruises but is licensed for 12 people for Private Charters.

The experienced and knowledgable boatman will explain the history and heritage of this waterway and you will see beautiful villages from the water. We pass the famous Trebah Gardens and discover several creeks on the cruise.

There is a wide arrange of amazing wildlife on The Helford from interesting and rare birds to larger marine wildlife. Stay a little longer and enjoy a refreshment at The Koru Cafe our waterside cafe at the Budock Vean Hotel foreshore with pasties, ice creams, Lavazza coffee, cold drinks and alcoholic beverages available. Pre order a picnic with a pasty (Cornish or Vegan) or Sausage Roll, flapjack or brownie, hot or cold drink and ice cream to take on board by calling 0794 102 7732 or emailing info@helfordrivercruises.co.uk. Light lunches 12-2pm and afternoon teas 3-5pm served on the terrace at the hotel available too.

1. There is a 5 to 10 minute walk from car park to the quay.
2. There are 4 steps on the quay to the boat.
3. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Warm clothing as it can feel cooler in a moving boat. You are welcome to bring cameras and binoculars. Picnics and snacks can also be brought but no glassware allowed and all litter must be taken away after the trip.

1. Park for free at the Over Flow Carpark at the Budock Vean Hotel (see video).
2. Allow 10 minutes to walk through the hotels beautiful gardens to the quay.
