Donations Day - Kayak Hire

Welcome to Donations Day!

We're opening our doors and the water to everyone for a special community event.

Book a free time slot and enjoy access to our stand-up paddleboards and kayaks between 08:30 and 13:00 (all hire must be back ashore by 13:00). Whether you're completely new to paddlesports or already love being on the water, this is a great opportunity to get involved.

As a Community Interest Company (CIC), our aim is to remove barriers to participation and make paddlesports accessible to all. There is no charge to attend, but if you'd like to support our work, you can make a voluntary donation during booking or on the day. Every contribution helps us continue providing affordable and inclusive opportunities within our community.

Everyone is welcome ages 6+, (under 10's must be accompanied on the water by an adult). Families, beginners, experienced paddlers, local residents, and curious visitors alike.

1. Spaces are limited, so please book a time slot.
2. Donations are entirely optional and not expected.
3. Please arrive 15 minutes before your session time.
4. 12:00 cut off for hire going out - Starboard Demo's available until 13:30

1. Must be able to swim 25m unassisted (typical length of a swimming pool)
2. Must be able to safely manoeuvre a kayak

1. Footwear to get from the changing rooms to the water (flipflops etc)
2. Change of clothes and a towel
