Come along and brave the waves
Description
Come along and brave the waves with me at Ballantrae beach; a true natural beauty spot, this shingle beach is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI), boasting a mixture of tranquillity and ruggedness.
It’s all about dips, not distance.
Channel your inner child and do something seriously fun and invigorating with a group of like minded people!
When: 6pm
Where: Ballantrae, South Ayrshire
What You Need:
• swimsuit, swim shoes or old trainers, swim gloves if available. Warm hat. (I recommend wearing your swimsuit under your clothes for ease of changing) Wear a wetsuit if you prefer, however, it is not a requirement (there are so many fantastic benefits of exposing your body to cold water!)
• Please bring plenty of warm clothes for afterwards, including a dry hat & gloves, even on a warmer day.
• Flask of hot drink, and snack for afterwards; there is a grassy area next to the car park with picnic tables for us to enjoy our refreshments afterwards.
