The River Mellte is bigger and bolder than all the others in the Neath Valley – nicknamed ‘waterfall county’. The Mellte has the most impressive waterfalls of all and you can jump, slide and swim your way down them.

Requirements
Participants should:
- Be fully aware of what Canyoning entails.
- Have a moderate level of fitness.
- Be able to doggy paddle for 15metres with the assistance of a buoyancy aid.
Participants must please follow our code of conduct when using the
car parks and venues.
- Display a valid parking ticket for the duration of your stay.
- Park with consideration to other carpark users and within the grid lines laid out.
- Follow all instructions given by staff and volunteers.
- Not use any car park or surrounding area as a toilet. Public toilets may or may not be available so please ‘go’ before you arrive. Toilets that are available should only be used for their intended purpose only.
- Maintain modesty whilst getting changed into or out of your wetsuit. Venues are often family facilities and nudity is unacceptable.
- Keep noise to a minimum and not use bad or offensive language.
- Be sure not to obstruct the access ways, or make them dirty or untidy, or leave any rubbish.
